About High Desert HD

High Desert HD is an independent online magazine for Albuquerque and Central New Mexico, styled like your favorite worn-out VHS tape but delivered in crisp high definition. Every day we tune in to the stories Burque is talking about, the red, the green and the Christmas worth the drive, Balloon Fiesta skies and Sandia sunsets, the gigs, films and festivals, and the local businesses making it in the 505. We also keep a free guide to the TV channels you can watch around Albuquerque.

High Desert HD is a reading site. It is not a TV station, a channel or a network affiliate, and nothing here is broadcast. The HD is for our love of the high desert (and a good pun). Our Channel Guide is a free guide to the stations that really are on the air.
